These terms govern the software development services provided by jbpa.dev.
jbpa.dev provides custom software development services including web applications, business systems, research platforms, portals, automation, and PWA development. The specific scope of each project is defined in an individual project agreement.
Projects are developed according to the approved scope defined in the project agreement. Additional features or major changes outside the agreed scope may require additional fees and adjusted timelines.
Payment is structured in milestones: 40% at project start, 30% at working prototype, and 30% at final deployment and handover. Consultation fees may be credited toward an approved development project.
Clients retain full ownership of their domain, hosting, accounts, source code, and data. jbpa.dev provides engineering services and does not retain ownership of client project assets.
jbpa.dev provides software engineering and technical development services only. We do not provide academic writing, research, or ghostwriting services. Clients are responsible for all academic content, research, methodology, and compliance with their institution's academic integrity policies.
First-year setup including domain, hosting setup, deployment, and agreed production services is included in the development fee. Third-party services and usage-based costs outside the agreed scope are billed separately and are the client's responsibility.
jbpa.dev is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of software developed under this agreement. Our liability is limited to the development fees paid for the specific project.
